September 2010

Kaleb learning how to mow the lawn on Grandpa's (zero radius turn) lawn mower.

Kaleb hanging out on Grandpa's famous scout trailer.

Kaleb showing off his baby modeling skills.

Kaleb loves the hammock... he has been caught a couple of times sleeping on it!

Each month goes by and I just can't post because I don't want to break my record. After 5 months of that, I've finally decided to post again. I guess I can't be that boring right? I thought I would share some of the milestones Kaleb has been overcoming these past few weeks. He is 18 months old now!

1. Kaleb can now climb onto his rocking chair and read himself a story.

2. Kaleb has learned the joys of brushing his own teeth and carries his toothbrush around the house almost all day... I guess you never know when you are going to have stinky breath right?

3. Kaleb is bilingual... he can now say hola and hi. (Sometimes it comes out as hilah.) He can also say goal, cookie, bzzz, mum, mmmmm, oooh, and dad.

4. Kaleb has become the top party animal in our household. Every time a song comes on he is the first to stop everything he is doing and start "jamming" to the music.

5. And finally, Kaleb has learned how to break dance. (As witnessed by me and Karen)

Oh how we love our little Kaleb. Some days it has been a challenge to do my homework and pay attention to him though. Lately when ever I turn on the computer in the mornings, he mysteriously wants me to cuddle with him at that very moment. He conveniently puts a barrier between me and the computer and refuses to let me hold him and touch the computer at the same time. What a character, but how could I refuse cuddling with my little one... right??? Untill next time... hopefully it won't be in another 5 months;o)
