October 2014

This month my handsome hubby and I were able to getaway and go to Palm Beach, California while Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids! It was hard to leave my babies, even for a few days, but it helped to know that they didn't miss me... how could they when they were being spoiled at Grandmas house with unlimited chocolate milk, treats, and late bedtimes?;o) Here are few pictures I took on our fun getaway....:o)

Another fun thing that happened in October is, my Sister Karen bought a cabin up near Pineview Lake and we were able to go and spend a day enjoying the beauty of the woods! Here are a few pics I took up at the cabin...:o)

And last, but not least, for this month, I took some pictures of my little Anneke for her birthday in a few weeks. She is getting so big, I CAN"T believe it! She has such a fun personality. She loves pretty sparkly dresses, shoes, and jewelry. She is such a little princess and is a marvelous model  in the candy corn dress that I made for her.;o)

Updates!

Oops! I need to update my blog!

Here are a few things that have been happening over the last couple of months...:o)

July 2014:

Garden Time!

We have been enjoying our new home sooo much. One of my favorite things about it is that we inherited  a few fruit producing trees! Here are some pictures I took this summer of our "fruitful" investment.;o)

Plums!

Peaches!

Grapes!

 Pears!

And, I grew some yummy tomatoes!

August 2014:

Kindergarten Time!

Here is a Picture of Kaleb's first day of school.:o) I can't believe he is old enough to go to school.... or maybe I can't believe that I'm old enough to have a child in school! He was so excited for his first day of school.... awww....memories....Sooo fun!

Kaleb has been doing so well and improving so much in school these past couple of months. He is enrolled in the dual immersion Mandarin Chinese Kindergarten program and is loving it.:o)

So far, he knows how to count to 10, the basic colors, a few songs, and how to ask if he can go to the bathroom or get a drink in Chinese.

He has such an enthusiasm for school that I hope it lasts! Every Friday he has a short day at school, so during the week he will ask me if tomorrow is a "short day"... when I tell him it is a  normal day he always shouts, "Yay! I love long days at school!" His teachers are so awesome and I feel so lucky to have my little Kaleb learning is such a great school.:o)
